Also read the previous part: Online Stock Menu Display - Part II. In the online stock menu view, you can also see what stocks can be traded using margin funds. Here is an example of the display of marginable stocks in one of the stock software that I use.
Marginable Stocks. Online trading software also provides margin trading facilities. You can see the explanation here: Margin Trading for Bigger Profits. Also read: Force Sell in the Stock Market. There are several stocks that you can trade on margin funds. See how it looks above.
Order List. If you buy or sell shares, you can view your orders through the Order List menu. This menu is used to view the stock buy-sell orders that you place during one trading day.
Indicator. If you want to do technical analysis, the online trading facility of each securities company provides charts for technical analysis. The chart display on the online trading software is as follows (see picture above). The technical analysis chart facilities of each securities company are different. It's a good idea to read the following post: Tips for Choosing a Securities Company.
Foreign/Domestic Activities. Other important information for you to know from online trading software is information about foreign and domestic activity. Foreign and domestic activity are used to see the number of domestic and foreign investors who buy and sell on one trading day. Foreign/domestic activity can also indicate high and low share buying and selling activities by local and foreign investors. If the foreign net or domestic net shows a negative number, it means that there was a lot of selling in that session rather than buying.
You will often encounter foreign/domestic activity news if you read capital market news. Then, what is the purpose of knowing these activities? Foreign/domestic activity can be used as a benchmark to determine whether the stock market is conducive at that time. Usually (though not always), if there are many good news that can increase investor confidence in the Indonesian capital market, the net buy (net purchase) will increase > net sell. And vice versa.
Market Indices. Market indices are used to see the increase or decrease in stocks based on the index of each sector. The indexes have been grouped into LQ45 Index, Composite Stock Price Index (COMPOSITE), consumer goods sector, property sector index, agriculture, Jakarta Islamic Index, main board index and development board, mining and so on. Market Indices can be used as a basis for investment decisions in certain sectors that are experiencing an increase or sectors that have high trading volume and value.
Top Stocks. In the online stock software display, you can see a list of stocks that rank the highest share price increases by percentage or Top Gainers (see picture above). You also see Top Losers, the most actively traded stocks by volume. A little way to read the information on Top Stocks.
Last = The last closing share price.
Change = change in the form of points. For example, KIAS stock rose 14 points.
%Change = Change in percentage. For example: READY stock is up 6.12%.
