If you trade stocks or forex, you will often hear advice from experts, your friends, or stock recommenders, that a trader and investor should trade following a trading plan. Unfortunately, every time I observe, many people give advice on following a trading plan, without telling what and how the ins and outs of a trading plan and how to make a good trading plan?
Note: Trading plan = Trading system (applied when you carry out trading activities).
The suggestion to make a trading plan is very good advice, but if you are only given advice without a clear step-by-step, I don't think it will have any effect on you. It's like this:
The doctor gave advice to Mirna: "Mirna, to live a healthy life you must maintain and regulate the right diet." This recommendation is very good, but if the recommendations only end here, then the doctor's advice will not help Mirna much to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
The problem is, what does it look like to maintain and regulate the right diet? What to eat? What not to eat? What are the rules and how to create a healthy diet? Is the right diet 4 healthy 5 perfect? If Mirna is allergic to fish, that means she can't apply 4 healthy 5 perfect? Is it necessary to set a healthy diet to eat 3 times a day, or 5 times a day but with smaller portions?
Same with trading plans. If someone suggests you to make a trading plan and run it in trading, then what I want to ask is: What kind of trading plan is a good trading plan? Before making a trading plan, you already know what a trading plan means? You already know what the trading plan should look like?
