Do you want to successfully play the stock? need how long? - Part I

If I ask you by giving you two options: "How long do you want to be successful in playing the stock? With options:

- Success in playing stocks in a period of 1 year or less

- Successfully playing stocks for a minimum period of 3 years

I'm sure all traders will answer that they want to be successful in playing stocks in the shortest possible time, which is one year or less. I mean, if you can be successful now, why delay another 4 years. If you can get a car and a house now, why wait another 4 years? Right?

However, what looks good is not necessarily good. To better understand it, now I will try to discuss one by one from each point.

Success in playing stocks in a period of 1 year or even less

If you are successful in a short period of time, it looks like a lot of fun at first. But if you are successful in a short time, most likely it is just beginner lucky. (almost) All beginners who can make big profits at the beginning, in the following months will suffer big losses.

This is because novice stock players still haven't studied market conditions much, so trading psychology and mentality have not been well formed. Beginner lucky tends to make traders feel happy, euphoric, and feel great. And you need to keep in mind, that success in playing stocks in a short time is not very good for your trading career.

It's not that it can't be successful quickly. I myself also want to be successful quickly. However, to achieve success requires a process. The problem is, the process to success in playing stocks is not fast, let alone delicious and easy.

"Ah, what's the matter, brother Heze?" ask you.

If you do not believe, in fact many people who initially succeeded quickly but soon fell. Why does this happen so often? Because their foundation is still weak. They have not experienced ups and downs, so when success is in the blink of an eye, they are not ready.

Immediately happy, immediately feel above the clouds, and when it's time to face real trials, they fall. Beginner stock players who can be successful in a short time also have the potential to lose in the future, even the losses suffered are greater than the profits they got at the beginning.

So, now you know why success playing the stock too soon is not good. The answer is because: Your "foundation" is still not strong.

Then, what about the second option? Is success in playing stocks for a period of at least 3 years the best choice? Please see the answer in Part II: Do you want to successfully play the stock? need how long? - Part II
